More network between my Windows and Linux virtual server
0 Comments Published July 16th, 2007 in Computers.Astonishing and not easy to solve. I installed Virtual PC with the software of the same name in a Ubuntu 7.04 server who conversed very well so far with my windows and from a crash with 20 minutes shit swap windows that finally stopped with using the power button down for 5 seconds, my two bones do not want to talk, but agreed to discuss with other network machines (ca se ping, responds to ca ... etc.) but both are unaware .
So how to reconcile them?
After trying all in vain
- Remove the network adapter
- Suppression of Virtual PC 2004 SP1 and reinstalling
- Test with other virtual servers
- Remove Firewall and antivirus
- Editing the registry
- Installing the Microsoft Loopback adapter for the virtual server can only communicate with its host.
This type of crash is rare but intractable for me 5 hours to test everything to make them all talk but nothing was done both OS talking to the networks but are unaware. I hate to reinstall a Windows XP without understanding why and then I am sorry myself to concluding that Virtual PC 2004 is not so reliable as that.
