Need for Speed game ... Shit Shift

Here's misadventure came to a lot of us on this game beautifully buggy signed Electronic Arts and the solution to solve the problem partially. I tested the demo on PC before and had found it quite nice. So I decided to buy me a PS3 version, to enjoy a G25 and a Playseat Evo.

It's great to play and I quickly went on the 80 stars to reach all the cars in classes 2 and 3 to play online with them. My profile level 20 finally disappeared one night during a switch with a beautiful Nissan GTR Spec Hp 585 index 13.98, finishing with a black screen for 10 minutes without returning to the menu of play as I switch off Wild black box, and reboot it load my profile as usual, except that I find myself with the start menu (or New Career Options). My God! or are past my 13 cars all the more beautiful than the other (two lotuses, 370Z, 350Z, S2000, GTR) ... nada bugger all disappeared. At this moment, I feel like walking on the CD, but unfortunately, no available backup copy and not an ISO image in the console. I repent me biting my wheel, crushing all my strength to pedal, and passing the former as a savage (Solid G25, G27 finally will have to wait).

I imagine that starting the career mode, I get them back. I finished the race and I'm on the list of vehicles to buy to start. I kept the dollars I had before the crash (phew it may be good). I took the first car out of available slots in your garage! "? Arf damage.

So what the hell?

A backup that has gone bad simply because EA sells a game unfinished and full of bugs that crashes every two hours on average with a PS3 online mode. The backup system is probably wrong. How to retrieve the backup planted?

Finally, leadership forums on the net or the problem with this stew NFS shift is real and quite common. First link and it falls directly on the official website of support in English or admin as the only solution proposed to start everything from scratch. It's really not much of a quality support, they can easily close it if it is to give answers as pitiful.

Fortunately, another player gives a more appropriate solution until a fix that never comes, no doubt. The latter is to give money to EA, we can understand now why there never will worry about this patch. Thus, instead of buying the car with the cash available, I bought via the Playstation Stor e for 0,99 € (I'm still sick). A bit too expensive RS4, AC is rare but when we do not like it still counts.

Well, then I regain access to my interface and I'm off to the garage to see the boxes in my possession. No luck, I have some of my cars but not all, because only 3 slots are available. I tried to climb profile for free slots but nothing works. So I sold the car that I did not want the old and there I take their places. So I kept the two lotus, and Z. It's still not terrible as a solution.

The last advice to avoid it happening again is to make backups in manual mode and therefore not disable automatic backup in the game would also be good if EA change the fact that you can not copy the backup because it is protected. A backup would have enabled me to recover an earlier date my garage! Rare are the games that backups protect against copying but EA likes we put sticks in the wheels.

Finally, a few days later, this time my backup has completely disappeared following a sudden cutoff of the current ($ 1,200,000 less ...) The best solution remains to disable automatic backups to avoid any risk of loss in Need of Protection For Speed Shift, The Shit!
