I am so tired of Quanta + and its slowness in Ubuntu to save a single file on a remote FTP 4KB I looked for another solution and a post on a forum that has put the chip in ear with an instrument called Fuseftp responsible for map within your file system a remote directory.
Well I'll get to the facility tomorrow because there is a bit late but good in a fast lap, compilation and installation of sources, this does not work!
Well it follows the guide of the official page: http://wiki.thiesen.org/page/Fuseftp apt #
It amends the sources.list and then we start the install as shown on the Guideline. Well, it is rather slow to file browsing and oddly after a while, the system loses a hand on the remote directory and ls no longer displays an empty directory. Amazing, we must disassemble and reassemble. This is not really effective.
Since the product is rather old 2006 is going to something else: lftpFS who undertook to take the torch. My install is a bit dead in Ubuntu so I could not install it.
