This is a wonderful ad campaign for mayor of this beautiful town at the expense of taxpayers. The report went on TF1 to log 13 hours to show us, and especially wonder about the why of such displays as a support to Obama in a French town.
I am certainly not an opponent of that but what comes to such a poster in a town. Elected officials may be the impression of being in the U.S. since it has authorized the use of Tasers?
I think it's mostly imagined it to please the locals who support them as the candidate Obama. The city of Val-de-reuil probably did not need this kind of waste and this is probably not the only or at U.S. companies announce layoff plans.
All elected officials take pleasure in one way or another. Some trying to get into the pocket of the residents shared their methods with more or less startling (City of Saint Die, for example). But much more than any other thing is we talk about them.
"Yeah I cased a huge poster at 15 000 euros, I think I'll be able to pass on TF1 with that!".
"Oh no, I put myself on the Vélib nancy but I did not get my right to 20 hours, yet I am green card I had with Tram." (Mostly disappointment)
It would be better to lower the tax pro and housing taxes ever rise!
But as Sarkozy seems to officials requesting more posts: "Do they know really what kind of world we live today." Well, to spend and no matter how much tax money, you can clear doubts regarding our dear elected!
And in times of crisis, the purchasing power decline, but not that of the state and our communities to ignite, there is not a problem?
For more information, I refer you to this excellent post that really sums up the omissions or errors in communication as the deputy mayor on the news actually confirm the amount of 15 000 euros, 1500 image right: http://fr.novopress.info/?p=13579
The conclusion remains the same again, putting them at the door!

To read, I discovered a very different situation from what we know locally and almost fantasy, as it seems to lag, rather malicious, with the satisfaction of the inhabitants. I really wonder the so-called controversy, which you claim, but no one knows or blank canvas heard here around the tarp that Val-de-Reuil installed, here are three or four months, the effigy of Barack Obama and repeats its slogan "Yes we can".
Without doubt this is because everyone knows it was mandatory to protect the building on which it hangs, bridge building, the most difficult to rehabilitate the urban renewal project that provides a restart at the town hall which aspect was the more "hard" it is surrounded by buildings that are rehabilitating several big names of French architecture. A white sheet or a tarpaulin construction, became mandatory for safety reasons, would have cost the same price (certainly not € 15,000, much less paid for by taxpayers in a city that is overwhelmingly Debt Reduction and where taxes have not increased 10 years!). It just was not as pretty. But perhaps you prefer the moisture-ridden walls ....
Furthermore, this sheet is secured on a permanent support that will, over the past two, three or four years that will unfortunately reconstructing the building, several other displays, including next month, a reminder of the 20th anniversary of Franco-German pairing between Val-de-Reuil Ritterhude, European cause that deserves our eyes to be defended.
Finally, I note that each day passes before this picture of families, individuals, who photograph, observe, appreciate it. The joy of all is not something to forget or despise.
The more so that, for us rolivalois, there are eternal bonds between Normandy and the United States. They never fade, despite the smiles, whether the landing of June 6, 1944 or that the city was designed based on a city map in the American (large avenues right angle) between 1967 and 1975 by architect Gerard Thurnauer and workshop Montrouge. That was worth a homage.
Furthermore, Val-de-Reuil, youngest in France, most of the Eure, receives 58 communities from Africa, Asia, Central Europe and nearly 50% of its population under 25 years. Faced with this reality, Obama embodies a model, exemplary, a journey. By force of conviction, by the will of man, by virtue of qualifications, by the uniqueness of a career, trust has had in himself the senator from Illinois, despite the racism, rejection, stupidity and short sighted to "front bull" has proved that everyone is master of its destiny and can take charge. It is the old French idea of "everyone has his marshal's baton in his bag." In this light, which is obviously not policy (which would be stupid enough to believe that it is a manifesto against McCain that our socialist mayor, Marc-Antoine Jamet, would have imagined, as if we forgot that our assistance will be to relatively little interest to the Democratic candidate) Obama becomes an example for an entire city, a reflection of a diversity of today's France, as is also the municipal council of Val de Reuil , one of the few to put into practice, when we look at the composition, diversity, each of which claims without applying it. It is important for the municipality of over 10,000 inhabitants the poorest of Upper and Lower Normandy, a village with 1,070 jobseekers alas, 441 beneficiaries of the RMI. Therefore, it is bizarre for a "new town", Val-de-Reuil is often folded on his own problems, rarely have a distant vision, much less a universal vision. It was time to lift your eyes a little and that the "local" get better, to think globally.
The more so that the main company of Val-de-Reuil is Sanofi Vaccines (2,000 employees) whose president is an American who knows no equal in the world in Pennsylvania. As the only accident of growth experienced in Val-de-Reuil is related to the relocation of Tyco, electronic components company, which relocated to Eastern Europe, who dismisses 300 employees and is managed by U.S. funds. It is clear that the decision in two days, will be most important for the world even if it is taken by 200 million inhabitants of the U.S. voters want the entire planet.
To return to the small end of the telescope, the city dweller I am and I am proud to defend is not mentioned very positively. So, if a small portion on TF1, FR3, France Inter Channel for a cost we could never pay us, leaves me indifferent, however the citation by the American media, the Bloomberg closer billionaires proletarians, makes me smile. The filming of TVs make Japanese animation in the neighborhood and you should see the children laughing uproariously. But best of best, when I saw just three lines below your comment forcefully, Google, American reservation sites referenced hotels in Val-de-Reuil (400 rooms 15 minutes from Rouen), I I am told that we had really won until either Obama to win. Collaborate with the man that the entire planet is the finest and most sympathetic of the moment is surely an idiot. You still leaves Putin and the Burmese dictators or Korean.

The media has many hidden details and conditions of installation of this sheet and the number of months already elapsed since its installation. They also lied about the price, the handling is now pervasive in all spheres.
If it is not paid by the taxpayers, Mr. Obama may well be that would have funded Himself?
I think that ruined walls by moisture would have been better if it's taxpayer money that funds this project except as you said, if this was for safety reasons more aesthetic hopefully .
Congratulations to the management of a city that does not increase taxes and who does not have crippling debts, is so rare in France. Communities can not file for bankruptcy, they spend freely and it is administered that count. In any case, they took a long time ahead of the banks even if the sums are not equivalent.
You may bet on the right candidate and you would not have posted such a key figure in French politics since we have no one in France at Obama.
I see that the municipalities will organize some parties if there is victory (yet beautiful expenses). Elected officials enjoy the holidays, you can eat and drink at will while the unemployed and look at the Rmistes 20h, bright smiles.
Associated with the man of the moment, it's politics and communication, and it is not always free. When funds are expended private, it is not disturbing but when money is public, it is absurd!
Demagoguery, misery is very convenient. It is certainly easier than thinking 3 seconds. What do you know the inhabitants of Val-de-Reuil, their city, their lives, their aspirations, and the use of their taxes? I'm pretty sure you do not even identify the city on a map. You just have stupidly taken two three nonsense lurking on the net about this sheet. For us, the inhabitants of Val-de-Reuil, it is just beautiful and she represents hope. And yes it is better than walls corroded by moisture.
Are you come to Val-de-Reuil only 10 years ago and back today to see the difference? see what you vilify the elected - introduce yourself in the elections because you are stronger than they - have done since 10 years of tax people? when you have done this little job for a minimum of objectivity, return result.
Great if you find this magnificent canvas. In addition, it seems that it should be renewed regularly to meet the admiration of citizens in your community.
Can not let you tell me it would be more topical. And given the price it probably degrades very quickly what kind of equipment. I'm not living this county, I hate the waste of public money and this one is a perfect example and not as at home (it's everywhere) and when we know that there are 36 000.
You're happy, you have a beautiful display and you like giving your money to have nice things in your city. Elected officials must be rubbing their hands. Anyway I hope in 10 years, your elected officials did not project that same level that the tarp.
Elections yes but not in your town, there are a lot of work in one where I live and post your comments probably even more than in your town.
Hope to read you
